JOB VACANCY-YOGA TEACHER at the Embassy of India, Tunis

The Embassy of India in Tunis invites applications for a qualified and experienced Part-Time Yoga Instructor to conduct yoga sessions for enthusiasts of all levels.

Work Profile:

1. Teach in English, Arabic, and French, as well as visit and coordinate with yoga institutions and universities for promotion of yoga in Tunisia.
2. Organize and participate in cultural outreach events and festivals hosted by the Embassy, particularly those promoting Indian traditions, wellness, and heritage.
3. Deliver workshops, demonstrations, and lectures on the philosophy and health benefits of yoga and its connection to Indian culture.
4. Support the Embassy’s initiatives during International Day of Yoga and other significant Indian cultural celebrations.
5. Collaborate with local cultural and wellness organizations to host joint events, fostering cross-cultural understanding.
6. Develop and share educational content on yoga (including short videos, articles, or social media posts) to raise awareness and engagement online.
7. Assist in curating yoga-based cultural displays or exhibits during Embassy events.
8. Provide guidance and assistance in organizing short-term yoga courses or certification programs in collaboration with Indian yoga institutions.
9. Maintain records of participants, gather feedback, and contribute to improving the quality and outreach of yoga-related activities.
10. Any other work assigned from time to time.

These duties will be in line with the Embassy’s broader mission of promoting Indian culture and strengthening people-to-people ties between India and Tunisia.

Qualifications/Eligibility:

• Certified Yoga Instructor
• Proven experience teaching yoga to individuals of various skill levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of English, Arabic & French languages
• Those having the knowledge of Indian culture would be preferred

Renumeration:

Renumeration would be paid on an honorarium basis in Tunisian Dinar equivalent to US $ 400 per month (4 hours/3 days per week on a monthly basis)
